• Breastfeeding is the healthiest choice for mothers and babies. Decades of research show that breast milk is a unique substance that cannot be artificially duplicated. It is the most complete food for babies, as it contains the perfect balance of nutrients essential for a baby’s growth and development. Breastfeeding also has numerous benefits for the nursing mother and infant.
• Economically, breastfeeding is the best choice. Formula costs far outweigh the costs associated with breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is also environmentally friendly, as infant formula and bottle packaging negatively impact the earth’s resources.
