Nurturing Life Foundation
As part of our 15th year anniversary, Motherlove Herbal Company
launched the Nurturing Life Foundation. The Nurturing Life Foundation has a twofold mission:
first to promote breastfeeding and support mothers-in-need nationwide. Secondly, to provide funding
so that children can attend summer camps and experience nature.
A donation is made to the Nurturing Life Foundation with every Motherlove product purchase.
2005 donations include:
Mountain Park Environmental Center
“What a summer of camps! Our campers backpacked, rode horses, hiked the trails, learned about trees and ecosystems
and had the time of their lives. More than half of the children who participated in our Summer Camps required a scholarship
to be able to have this experience. Thanks to your donation, 46 children who otherwise would not have been able to attend camp,
got to spend many precious hours having a blast in Nature!”

Habitat for Humanity
“Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your contribution in support of our home building program. This donation made to our
Women Build program will help build a home (for) a hard-working single mother. Your support does more than build houses; it rebuilds
lives and gives the gift of hope!”

“Thank you for your donation to La Leche League International. Your donation to the Peer Counselor program makes a difference.
As requested, your donation will be used for two women to receive scholarships to continue their training. We are grateful for your
gift to support LLLI in our work to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed.”

The LLI Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program has led women from welfare to work by providing education, communication, counseling skills
and on-going personal and breastfeeding support. The program was originally designed to reach mothers in low income minority populations
who have a low incidence of breastfeeding and traditionally have had limited or no access to breastfeeding information and support.
The BPC Programs have been very successful at finding minority mothers who have breastfeeding experience and who are committed to
promoting breastfeeding in their communities.

Woman's Hospital
“We have all seen the devastating affects Hurricane Katrina had on Louisiana and Mississippi. Since the hurricane, Woman’s Hospital
in Baton Rouge has taken in many critical babies and new moms whose home towns were affected by the storm. Simply Retail was able to
purchase infant car seats at cost for the hospital. Because of your generous donation, we have been able to donate over 50 car seats to
Woman’s Hospital!”
—Mindy Thompson, President and Founder of Simply Retail
American Red Cross
The Nurturing Life Foundation generously gave to the American Red Cross to aid those in need from Hurricane Katrina.
