Our First 10k!

September 08, 2011

Our Facebook page has its first 10,000 fans, and to celebrate, we want to give back. But picking just one organization is impossible. So, we want you, our fans, to pick. Leave us a comment and tell us where you’d like us to make a donation, and we’ll pick one person at random and make a donation in your name to the charity you specify. The donation will be made from the Nurturing Life Foundation—which we fund with a percentage of every item sold.

Keep this in mind when making your nominations:

The Nurturing Life Foundation has a twofold mission: To promote breastfeeding and support mothers-in-need and to create opportunities for children nationwide. The Nurturing Life foundation is wholly funded by Motherlove Herbal Company.

We look forward to learning about your favorite non-profits and charities that support mothers and families!

I have been attending the Anticipation & Beyond Cafe throughout my pregnancy & the first few months of my son’s life. As a first time mom, I’ve had so many questions, concerns, and things to share- needs that have been met by this group. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Anticipation & Beyond Cafe! I would love to see this group get some much needed support, so they can in turn help new moms just like me!

Toni Keltner

I would like to nominate Shower of Hope Oklahoma.
showerofhopeoklahoma.blogspot.com

Here’s a little info: Shower of Hope Oklahoma is the “baby” of Toni Keltner. After the May 24, 2011 Oklahoma tornadoes, Toni was stirred to help in anyway possible. What began as an outreach to the Hamil Family of Cashion, Oklahoma, turned into a charitable endeavor of helping mothers, children and families affected by Oklahoma storms, tornadoes and other natural disasters. Toni Keltner was born and raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Toni is 30-years old and is a 2001 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow. She attends Church on the Move in Tulsa. Toni has been a licensed Realtor in Oklahoma since 2001. She served on the Greater Tulsa Association Board of Realtors Community Relations Committee for 2 years where she helped with the annual “Backpacks For Kids” fundraiser. Toni resides in Broken Arrow with her husband, Andrew, and their two sons.
