Announcing Motherlove’s New Look!
October 31, 2016
Does something look a little different on the store shelves? We are thrilled to announce Motherlove’s redesigned packaging! We’ve kept the familiar blue bottles you’ve come to know and love, and have updated our label design with a fresh new look featuring custom illustrations of the primary herb used in each product. Our body care products, such as the Nipple Cream and newly renamed Diaper Balm will also now feature boxes made from 100% post-consumer recycled cardboard. All balms and salves will sport new metal lids. This new, updated look will begin shipping in October 2016, with the metal lids following around January 2017.
“We redesigned our labels and packaging in response to feedback from our customers, and to refresh our look as we continue to grow with the next generation of mothers,” said Silencia Cox, Motherlove’s CEO. “The products remain unchanged,” she added. “The manufacturing and formulation of our tried and true products are the same and there is no difference between them in the older packaging and new redesign.”
In addition, all Motherlove liquid supplements are now certified organic and will carry the USDA Organic seal. While all Motherlove herbal ingredients have always been certified organic, we are now using certified organic alcohol in our liquid supplements that allows for this additional level of certification.
“As a lifelong supporter of organic products and Motherlove, I’m proud to have been part of our company’s growth from the handmade labels my mother used when she started the brand, to these beautiful and informative new labels. This new redesign stays true to my mother’s love of herbs and passion for the healing gifts of the earth, and also reflects the modern mother,” said Silencia Cox, CEO, and daughter of Kathryn Higgins, Motherlove founder. “From our humble beginnings at our kitchen table, the work we’ve done both at Motherlove and as a greater community to support organic, safe, effective, and sustainable products, will now benefit yet another generation.”
