Mom or baby experiencing gassiness is not a common side effect of taking moringa that we have heard of. However, since every body is unique, it is possible that some dyads will experience this. If this is the case, we recommend easing into the full number of doses per day, starting with only two capsules and increasing to 4–6 per day over the course of a few days to a week.
If you or your baby are still experiencing gastric upset, we have other fenugreek-free lactation supplements that might be a better fit for you. Shatavari, More Milk, More Milk Two, and Goat’s Rue are all fenugreek-free alternatives to Moringa.
