Fenugreek, especially if taken in larger-than-recommended doses, can cause gastric upset or gassiness in the mother, and less likely, in the baby. In More Milk Plus®, Motherlove blends fenugreek with fennel, a digestive aid, to help counteract this possible side effect. Also, fenugreek is not recommended for those with hypothyroidism who are on medication, as it may block the absorption of the thyroid medication. In rare cases, fenugreek can also lower blood sugar and cause breakthrough menstrual bleeding.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review of Motherlove's More Milk Plus tincture. Because Motherlove's tinctures are so concentrated and herb-dense, they can have a very strong taste.
If you are sensitive to taste, feel free to add our tinctures to juice or a smoothie. Some people find it helpful to follow the tincture with something sweet, like a spoonful of honey. You can also try adding it to apple sauce or oatmeal.
