It’s our favorite month of the year at Motherlove because World Breastfeeding Week is upon us. World Breastfeeding Week is designed to encourage breastfeeding rates and help improve the health of babies across the world. Throughout August, there are thousands of worldwide events celebrating this event and we are grateful to be part of many of them.
So, how does Motherlove get involved? - a few ways!
First, Motherlove sponsors the Big Latch On. This year, we are the Bosom Buddies Sponsor (highest level), providing Nipple Cream samples to registered locations across the United States. By joining together, mamas and families are able to support one another by forming a community. Check out their website if you are interested in hosting your own BLO event.
Secondly, Motherlove works closely with numerous La Leche League groups. We send our Nipple Cream samples to dozens of locations across the U.S for their annual event, Live, Love, Latch! This event provides education to both family, friends, and healthcare providers on how they can support breastfeeding. These events are set up to not only recognize and celebrate breastfeeding but to bring communities together. Remember - it takes a village!
We also support many community celebrations that are organized by breastfeeding moms, stores, and medical practices. From your local hospital to the maternity store down the street, we hope to be there this year, supporting breastfeeding both near and far.
Our goal is to provide organic Nipple Cream that is both safe and effective to as many mothers as we can throughout World Breastfeeding Week. We are currently estimating that over 18,000 moms will be receiving our samples this year!
